4th August, 2022: Rademar, a sports and leisure goods retailer with a 30-year history, opened its doors today in Nautica, with a brand new concept store.

In the Nautica Rademar store, the selection of sports goods and brands for the customer is structured differently. According to Margus Juksar, Board Member of Rademar, their Nautica store is the first one in Estonia with this new concept. “We no longer have a long wall of shoes, but, for example, training or running shoes are next to clothes of the same category, so that it is easier for the visitor to find clothes that match the shoes and vice versa,” explained Juksar. In addition, and for the convenience of the customer, the cash registers are located in the middle of the store, for improved customer service. Also, the fitting rooms and the lighting has been altered to help customers choose suitable sportswear.

Margus Juksar is pleased that Rademar is closer to people in the city centre and believes Nautica’s location is very good. In the new store, you can find clothes and shoes for exercise, leisure and outdoor activities for the whole family. All major Rademar brands are represented in a wide selection, such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Didriksons, Columbia, Icepeak, Champion, EA7, Halti, Luhta, Vans.

Kaarina Pagil, CEO of Capfield, said that the aim of the centre is to focus more on Estonian customers. “The Tallinn port area is a developing environment within our urban space, of which Nautica is a key part,” noted Pagil and added “Nautica’s goal is to be a home orientated centre primarily for local residents whilst not forgetting the tourists arriving by boat, for whom Rademar creates significant added value with its wide brand selection.”

According to Pagil, attention has been paid to the synergy between the stores during the development of Nautica. “The Nautica customer can get a complete shopping selection from our centre,” she said and added that sports goods are among the TOP 5 stores in Nautica.

Rademar plans to continue renewing its stores in the coming years in order to offer visitors an even better customer experience. The Nautica Rademar store has opening offers until the middle of the month. Together with the new store in Nautica, Rademar has 17 stores and an e-store all over Estonia, which can be visited at any time regardless of the location.
